I was given the assignment to create my own food truck for one of my Mass Communication courses. I had complete freedom to select the name of the truck, design the look and branding of the truck and craft the truck's menu.
The food truck I created specializes in selling raw, fresh juices and is appropriately named Juice Caboose. In order to engage with the target audience and encourage customers to return, I had to create an appealing and unique logo and menu.
The Juice Caboose logo features a juice-filled caboose with citrus slices for wheels. The font that I chose for the logo is playful, yet clean and easy to read. The circular design of the logo looks great on a sticker on the front of every Juice Caboose bottle.
The menu continues on with the fun locomotive theme with options like Energy Express, Green Machine and Choo-Choo Cashew. In addition to the unique names, each juice has its own health benefit that is clearly stated next to each item on the menu. Customers can choose their juice based on the flavors they want, on how they wish to feel, or both.
