The first annual Tiger 10K will occur in Spring 2017 on the campus of Louisiana State University. Runners will have the unique opportunity to run through LSU campus and finish on the 50 -yard line of Tiger Stadium.
I worked with one other student to develop and execute a creative strategy that would effectively create awareness about the new race, distinguish it from other races in Louisiana and encourage people to sign up for and participate in the race.
We chose to focus our campaign around the reward of finishing the race in Tiger Stadium, a place that our target audience knows and loves.
The clean outline of Tiger Stadium featured in the logo and the tagline "Finish at the 50" effectively communicate where the race will take place and the perks of participating in the race. Runners will love the shirts, hats and fanny packs and will continue to wear them long after race day, creating awareness for future Tiger 10Ks
In addition to helping develop the creative strategy, I also designed the promotional items, billboard, jumbotron ad, Moodle ad and Win Bar Mile-Markers.
